Picture 4Judith Supine is both an activist and an artist. His work transcends the walls of galleries and becomes a part of New York’s cityscape. His work even extends past the borders of New York, since photographs of his collages and videos of his work are easily found on the internet on sites such as flikr and YouTube.  For those not familiar with Judith ( yes he is male, he took on his mother’s name and “supine” as the birthing position as his name to avoid run-ins with the law). Judith has hung his work off the Manhattan Bridge  and made it float on the East river. In addition he has also posted his work on the Army recruitment center in Times Square.
